“Eventually my neck pain got so bad that I had to go into the Emergency Room. That’s when they discovered the tumor in my neck.”
“Dr David Chang did my lumbar fusion on March 1st of 2016. I immediately had some feeling back in 2 of my toes that had been numb for many, many years. Overall, the surgery was a success. I would recommend this surgery to someone that is in the same condition that I was in.”
“Dr. Chang rebuilt my broken neck 27 July 2016…four days later I got use of my right hand and right arm back! Thank you to Dr. Chang and his entire Team…wonderful!”
“My experience with Dr. Chang was that he actually cared about his patients. He took the time to actually draw me diagrams of what was wrong with my back and how he was going to fix it. This was going to be my 3rd back surgery and I was not even 40. I was scared but I was in so much pain there was no other option. I couldn’t walk, sit or stand for more than 5 minutes. I would get paralyzing pain…I had to do the surgery. I am so glad I did!!! I had my L4-L5 fused. It is 8 months later and he has given me the go-ahead to start golfing again…I never thought I would be able too! He is a friendly, down to Earth, surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I was just going to go to him for a third opinion, but he will be my back doctor going forward.
Thank you so much for giving me my life back.”
“I went for a 3rd opinion at the Mayo, received the same diagnosis and went back to Dr. Chang because I felt confident with his skill and experience. I can’t say enough good things about his work. I was starting to get weak in my right arm, left leg and numbness in my extremities. He did a laminectomy and fusion between c3-c6 to stop me from becoming paralyzed. I am a year and 2 months out now and although it has not been a cakewalk I am doing well. He did a great job and I was treated very well at Midwest spine. I am still walking, talking and playing my guitar. Thank you Dr. Chang!”
