Seeking Patients for Lumbar Artificial Disc Clinical Research Trial

Have you been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease?
If so, you may be a candidate for a clinical study being conducted by Midwest Spine and Aesculap Implant Systems.
The study is to learn whether an investigational device is safe and effective in the treatment of degenerative disc disease of the lumbar spine. Drs. Glenn Buttermann and Thomas Rieser are lead clinical investigators in the study.
Required follow up visits for evaluation are at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, and 24 months after surgery. Certain subjects will also be evaluated 3, 4 and 5 years after surgery.
